My time in the military was a big influence on my life. This is where I drew my inspiration for my current series, Colors of Valor. It is a collection of artworks in different mediums depicting military-related subjects. I created this type of work because it is rewarding to create something that represents myself and the heroes who sacrificed their lives for others. I can be their voice through my art. It is my way of honoring their valor through color, powerful image, form, and gestures.
