Taylor Broussard
Taylor is an aspiring second-generation Landscape Architect who has taken an unusual path into the profession. After high school, looking to find a way to make a difference, he completed his undergraduate in Political Science with an emphasis on Political Philosophy and Public Policy. Disenchanted with the reality of politics, he joined the family firm as a draftsman and quickly saw the way in which Landscape Architecture could impact communities, bridge the divide between private and public spaces, and create meaningful places. With a growing appreciation of the discipline of design, Taylor saw that Landscape Architecture could make a difference. He is now more than twelve years into the profession and works as a project manager with his father at a family design studio in Clovis, CA. And is nearing completion of his graduate studies at Academy of Art University.
