Growing up in Korea, the Philippines and Israel, Lash had many positive international influences at an early age. Her love of the arts started in her childhood when her father would take her to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC. As a young adult, her love of travel, music and the outdoors led her to the realization that conservation of the natural world is crucial if we are to pass on these natural wonders to future generations. She hopes to be able to include these influences in her designs in order to inspire and educate both young and old of all cultures, to incorporate the natural world into the urban environment, and to preserve our natural wonders as cities and suburbs continues to expand.
