Traveling is fun, adventurous, and inspirational. Landscape painting, both in the studio and en plein air, is the perfect way to honor this act of travel. By the use of strong composition form, and color harmony, this love of travel is recorded and documented for the viewer to enjoy and appreciate.
Working from his studio and en plein air, Mitch does freelance, gallery, and commission paintings. Several of his oil and watercolor pieces have been selected into juried shows. Most recently, his painting San Francisco Icon was chosen for The de Young Open Exhibition and appeared on the cover of The de Young Museum Quarterly Journal.
