Ziyi Yin was born and raised in Kunming China, Yunnan province, which refers to 'the hidden paradise of China.' She grew up in a place with diverse Chinese ethnic groups and tribes. These different backgrounds and cultures help to connect her design projects with people’s daily life experience. For her future career, she is preparing to create her own brand which represents her attitude and design goal. Her vision is designing clothing for people of all sizes and gender identities.
With all her work, exploring the relationship between textures and silhouettes is critical. Ziyi focuses on exceptional fabrics, exquisite details, and precise tailoring, from the street styles to classic styles, to create timeless and exciting garments.
