Ting Xiong got her associate degree in Musical Education from China and she is expected to receive her bachelor’s degree in Costume Design at Academy of Art University in fall 2021. Her main goal is to combine artistic vision with cultural diversity by exploring different aspects of arts, and to pursue a theatrical and cinematic costume design career with professional and innovative contributions.

During Xiong’s four-year study at AAU, she led and/or participated in over 12 costume design projects and costume construction projects, which include the Halloween immersive experience Incubuse, the musical show In the Height, the opera The Pirates of Penzance, and the 2021 movie Sonder. Among those projects, she worked with students from many disciplines, universities, and local theaters and received many lauds for her approachable and cooperative work attitude.
