Ariel Allen
Ariel is a costume designer, fiber artist and illustrator captivated by the kinds of details an audience can use to understand the smallest truths of a character. Combining historical design with modern culture and learning to make costume as rich and diverse in resource and identity as possible are some of her personal inspirations.
She graduated from Academy of Art University with a major in Costume Design and a minor in Illustration. She has had the opportunity to design multiple theatrical, concert and dance productions. Ariel is currently working as a freelance illustrator, costume designer and teaching artist. In her free time, she is digging in her garden, crocheting fantastical pieces and drawing creatures from her imagination.
