I have worked in the production industry for 30 years, and have seen how the world has transformed from analog to digital. Yet, being in ArtU has opened new opportunities for learning. I am ready to write my new story called Second Wind.

As a producer at heart, I love human interest stories that inspire and uplift the spirit. I refuse to get beaten by challenges and curve balls. I always want to turn them into opportunities. That's the Filipino spirit in me, and that spirit is what we all hold onto, to make it in life, and pursue our dreams.

Not My Adobo - Adobo is considered our unofficial official national dish. The running joke is, our adobo versions is as many as the 7,641 islands that make up the Philippines. What then is the secret ingredient to these countless versions?

Paper Love - Nothing compares to the smell of paper. Books transport you to different places, introduce you to new people, teach you skills, and evoke all kinds of emotions. You are brought to a whole new world, just by turning a book, page after page.

Staying Positive - When you live in a country which has one of the longest lockdowns in the world, you hang on to hope, faith and love, in order to live. Despite feelings of anger and frustration about my country's covid response, I just need to be grateful for waking up to a new day, every single day. I look forward to that day when we can all be physically together, again.

The Mighty Shield - My country's pandemic rules are certainly unique. Take the case of the mandated wearing of the face shield, on top of your double mask. That's triple protection against the threat of the virus. Have our cases gone down? Well, almost, but not quite.
