Armando Rivera was born and raised in the Coachella Valley in Southern California. His parents, Armando & Lisa Rivera are his biggest inspirations. His father, raised in Mexico, and his mother, raised all throughout Europe, both worked tirelessly to create a better life for themselves and their family. Today, they both have Master’s Degrees and have worked in education for over twenty-five years. Armando attributes his work-ethic and his success to the example his parents have provided all his life. Armando began acting, his Senior year of college and has now starred in multiple Assessment Scenes, Thesis Films, Commercials, and ArtU’s Live One-Act Plays. Armando has also been a student-athlete throughout his college career and is currently the captain of the University’s Men’s Soccer Team.
